Chocolate Week 16th – 22nd October
This annual event is a chocolate lovers dream; it is dedicated to everything chocolate. It is a time to look at everything cocoa, whether it be dark, white or milk chocolate the art of the chocolatier is given full rein.
This week will feature fairs, tastings and special menus encouraging people to share chocolate together.
There is a Craft Chocolate Fair, where UK and international chocolate makers will showcase their products.
Special Tastings and Menus will also be created. Michelin starred chef Adam Handling will launch a “Limited Edition Foraged Collection” and offer an 8-course chocolate themed tasting menu in his restaurant.
The Great British Bake Off will feature a special chocolate week episode where contestants will be creating mousse cups and chocolate tart.
The main message for this week is to encourage mutual enjoyment. Eat whatever chocolate you enjoy with family and friends.
