Dry January 1st - 31st 

This is the month that encourages people to abstain from alcohol for the entire month of January. Headed by the action group Alcohol Change UK this campaign is for those participating to experience the health benefits of an alcohol-free lifestyle and reset their relationship with alcohol. 

Not having alcohol for a month can reset the body, improve sleep quality, boost energy levels and can lead to weight loss. 

It is also time to think about our relationship with alcohol. Do we need to adjust our drinking habits in the long term?  

To make the most of Dry January plan ahead at social occasions with alcohol free drinks or mocktail recipes. Reflect on how you are feeling better sleep and more energy. Think about your drinking habits and set personal gaols to reduce your alcohol intake long term. Reward yourself with small treats and explore alcohol free brands.
