Time to Talk Day 6th February
This is an annual event on the first Thursday in February to encourage conversations about mental health and to remove the taboo surrounding mental health. It is a time to encourage conversations about mental health among friends, families, communities and workplaces. To talk listen and change lives.
The day is run by Mind and Rethink Mental Illness. This is to get people comfortable talking about metal health.
On Mind’s website it says you don’t have to host a huge event to get the conversation going. Every conversation matters.
Some of the things you can do are check in with a friend, put up posters on your work notice board. Host a coffee and chat time in your local community centre. Text a friend and set up a time to meet.
